Los Angeles-based Concord Law School, also called Concord University School of Law, is a private law school at Kaplan University, one of its numerous schools available to students online. Founded in 1998, it is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission regionally and is the United States’ first fully online law school with all lecture and study sessions delivered on a secure website platform.
Concord offers two types of Juris Doctor (JD) law degrees and recipients who pass the California Bar Exam and meet other requirements can practice law in the state of California. Tuition for the first 4-year program costs around $47,000 compared to traditional law school of $145,000. The school has a California Bar pass rate of 27% for first-time takers.
